101

In 101 we will look at basic Christian beliefs. We will dive into what Revive Church believes and why. It is very important to be connected to a church and this class will help you understand why. It is also a prerequisite to becoming a Revive Church Partner.    We are all parts of Christ’s Body, and it takes every one of us to make it complete, for we each have different work to do. So we belong to each other and need all the others (Romans 12:4-5 LB).

201201 is designed to teach the importance of spiritual maturity. It will do this by explaining the why and how of 5 key habits (Quite time with God, Reading your Bible, Importance of prayer, Reasons for tithing, and the effectiveness of fellowship). This class will help you set up practices so you can mature in Christ. Maturity doesn’t happen in an instant, it is a process.    Continue to grow in grace and knowledge of our Lord and Savior Jesus Christ(2 Peter 3:18).   Take the time and trouble to keep yourself spiritually fit (1 Timothy 4:7 ).

301 301 provides an environment to discover purpose and meaning through a real life relationship with God.  Concentrated opportunities are given for individuals to break free of negative habits, bondages, bitterness, wrong thoughts, and past mistakes.    These weekends will affect your heart and change you forever through the power of the Cross of Christ.

401In 401 you will discover that everyone who is Christian is created to have a ministry. We will look at spiritual gifts and discover how God has wired you to have an effective ministry by using your God given gifts and abilities.    God has given each of you some special abilities; be sure to use them to help each other . . . (1 Peter 4:10 LB).   There are different kinds of service to God… together you form the Body of Christ and each one of you is a necessary part of it (1 Corinthians 12:5, 27).

501In 501 we will dive deeper into what it means to have a relationship with God. We will look at the life of Jesus and see how he lived. Through this we will focus on how we can live with an intention of changing our community and impacting the world with the Gospel of Jesus.

. . . you will be my witnesses for me . . . to the ends of the earth (Acts 1:8).

Always be prepared to give an answer to everyone who asks you to give the reason for the hope that you have. But do it with gentleness and respect . . . (1 Peter 3:15).
